I am interested in designing computational algorithms that address supply chains and operations challenges, by combining methods from Combinatorial Optimization, Stochastic Optimization, Machine Learning and Lean- Six Sigma. Currently, I am working on applying Scenario Reduction algorithms in Stochastic Optimization to solve problems in Capacitated Facility Location and Network design & routing. The results of this work will contribute to SMS++, a high-performance mathematical modeling system written in modern C++. - Failure analysis by applying lean tools (5 whys, 5W1H, 5M1E, FMEA), mathematics techniques (6 Sigma, Reliability analysis, Pareto/SPC analysis, Cpk/Ppk, DOE) to define corrective/preventive actions regarding to quality excursions.
- Developed a productivity improvement process for a Core-Bedding product (single SKU), reducing average labor time from 0.38 to 0.23 hours per unit and saving $9,229.29 for the company.
- Managed KPIs for mixing processes, including Productivity (80%), OTD (95%), First pass yield (99% non-telecom, 95% telecom), and Cost (under budget 1% revenue/month). Achievement: increased Productivity exceed 80% for 5 consecutive months
